20-Hour Teaching Practicum – First Round Recap

To celebrate the success of the first round of our 20-hour teaching practicum, we’d like to give you a glimpse of what our participating course graduates have been up to during their 10 weeks in the program.

Over the course of 10 weeks, our participating graduates have worked diligently to put their hard-earned teaching skills to the test by teaching actual live English classes online to students in remote regions of the world.

Through The Worldwide Education Fund’s GVS project, our participating teachers have helped provide English language training to over 400 students in 7 countries – Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.

Let’s see what they’ve been up to in round 1 of the practicum program!

Program information:

The 20-hour practicum program is offered in a limited capacity to graduates of World TESOL Academy that have completed their 120-hour TESOL/TEFL course.

The program is completely free, and it’s conducted online over the course of 10 weeks. It also comes with a free hardcopy certificate!

To be eligible for the teaching practicum program, you’ll need to be able to meet the following requirements:

  • To have a stable internet connection, webcam, and microphone.
  • To have completed our 120-hour TESOL/TEFL course
  • To be available to teach for 2 hours per week over a period of 10 consecutive weeks.

Shortlisted teachers will be invited to conduct an interview for the program, and successful candidates from these interviews will then be notified in advance and offered a position in the program.
