Gaia International Academy – Homeroom Teacher
Gaia International Academy is a private school located in the Shin Tien area in Taipei, Taiwan. Their aim is to unlock children’s full potential, build an English knowledge base, and develop discipline. With the guidance of their group of mentors, their pupils will not only study academic subjects but also play music and take part in sports in a bilingual environment. They firmly believe that their mission is to build a bridge for children to join the global village.
The innovative education at GIA is pragmatic and practical. They dedicate themselves to equipping students with skills for learning at a young age.
They are currently looking to hire full-time and part-time native-peaker English teachers.
Duties and responsibilities:
- The position is for a homeroom teacher.
- Both full-time teachers and part-time teachers are needed.
- The full-time position working days are Monday to Friday.
- Work hours are between 08:00 ~ 16:00. (can be discussed).
- Teaching hours are around 80-100 hours per month.
- Class duration is 40 minutes per one class, and one hour rest for lunch.
- The students are primary school kids’ age.
Requirements:
- Native English speaker (for Visa requirement).
- Associates degree or higher.
- TESOL/TEFL teaching certificate.
- Clean criminal record.
Benefits:
- The salary is around NTD70000 per month, also during vacations.
- Part-time teacher : NTD600-850 per hour (can be discussed).
- Lunch is provided.
Pandemic notice:
Due to the pandemic, it’s currently difficult to bring teachers into Taiwan. Due to this, teachers that are already located within the country are preferred.
