ZJ Elite — Kindergarten English Teacher

ZJ Elite is a recruitment agency based in Hangzhou, China, specializing in connecting skilled foreign teachers with reputable educational institutions across China.

They are now looking for more qualified English teachers.

About the position:

• Location: Hangzhou, China
• Contract Duration: 1 year, starting mid-February (post-winter holidays).
• Student ages: 3-6 years
• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Morning: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
• Afternoon: 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-on-one or small group Montessori English classes in the mornings.
• Teach English classes in the afternoons for children aged 3-6 (class duration: 35-45 minutes).
• Supervise and guide children during outdoor activities.
• Create teaching materials based on monthly teaching themes.
• Develop weekly teaching plans and submit monthly teaching reports.
• Provide feedback in the class WeChat group three times per week.
• Teach one new English song each week.
• Participate in parent-school workshops and conferences (twice per semester).
• Assist with weekend enrollment activities (at least once per month).
• Carry out other tasks as discussed and assigned.

Benefits

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: Around RMB 25,000-26,000/month (pre-tax).
• Contract Bonus: RMB 6,000 upon renewal.
• Housing: RMB 4,000/month housing allowance (requires invoice for refund).

Requirements

Foreign Teacher Requirements:

• Nationality: Native English speakers from the USA, UK, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, or South Africa.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above (preferably education-related).
• Certification: TEFL, TESOL, or relevant kindergarten teaching certification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience.
• Age: Below 40.
