About the position
- Location: All throughout Taiwan.
- Job type: Classroom-based
- Students: Preschool and elementary students, typically 12 years old and younger
- Curriculum: Structured and supportive of both teachers and students; full of fun, games, and student-centered activities.

Requirements
They are looking for teachers who understand what it means to provide excellent instruction to students and support to their fellow teachers, but also that teaching is one of the few professions where having fun makes you even better at your job.
- Approved passport: Must have a passport from an English-speaking country – USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, etc. (Due to work visa regulations)
- Completed degree: Must have completed a University Degree or have both an Associate’s Degree and a TEFL Certificate. All majors welcome.
- Able to commit to a year: Must stay for at least a year. Can stay longer, 30% of their staff has been with HESS for more than 5 years!
- Clean background check: Must have no serious criminal charges on your record to work with children.
